The MedServ Group Program is a way for long-term care facilities to provide premium eye care for their residents while controlling the costs of optometry services.

When your facility enrolls in this program, The MedServ Group is fully responsible for your residents’ eye care — from thorough exams of new residents, to annual check-ups, to providing glasses or contacts. We schedule optometry teams to care for patients in your facility and bring the equipment to you. In some cases, we set up, maintain and stick a dedicated eye-care suite within your facility.

The MedServ Group Program also makes sure your facility complies with health code regulations related to eye care, and that all records are carefully kept and protected.

Nothing! The MedServ Group bills your residents’ insurance providers for all services. For additional services, please reach out to us, and we’ll work with you so everyone wins. Whatever the fee is, it will be all-inclusive. You won’t pay anything more for general optometry, as long as you’re with The MedServ Group Program.

The MedServ Group contracts with highly qualified, fully licensed medical professionals around the country, who provide care as part of our team. Our providers specialize in the unique needs of patients, including seniors, those with special needs, and those with disabilities. We understand the challenges of caring for patients with multiple health problems, and we are equipped to properly diagnose and treat these conditions.

The MedServ Group has a large network of providers with enough staff and equipment to handle all our clients’ needs and quickly adapt to changes. If your facility’s assigned doctor is unavailable, we’ll send one of our trusted, nearby back-up doctors.

Our providers are skilled at nonsurgical treatment, but sometimes patients need surgery. In those cases, we can provide referrals to a skilled surgeon. We have relationships with many top specialists and surgeons around the country, including:

-Ophthalmologists and ocular surgeons

-Podiatric and orthopedic surgeons

-Dermatologic surgeons

If your residents need surgery, the work may be performed at your location (if you have sterile facilities) or at a nearby partner hospital or clinic. We also provide postsurgical care at your facility to help make your residents’ recovery as smooth as possible.

Each doctor is responsible for the care of the patients they see, working closely with your facility’s in-house medical team. Our clinical directors and leadership team provide multiple layers of oversight to ensure outstanding care.

We also send a local staff member to regularly visit your facility and make sure you’re receiving the best service possible. You receive a quality assurance report after each visit.

All patient records are kept securely on our protected servers. We comply with all HIPAA regulations for the handling of patient information.
